Date: Saturday, March 10th
Day: 3 Flash N°: 14
Special stage: Guanajuatito 2 Distance: 30.97 km
Weather: Warm and sunny (2300 metres at stage finish)
Road conditions: Dry and dusty
Car 1. OGIER/INGRASSIA
Second successive fastest time and leads for the first time. “Of course pushing hard. Someone hit a
dog in front unfortunately. I missed another dog to save my marriage and nearly went off a couple of
times.”
Car 4. MIKKELSEN/JAEGER-SYNNEVAAG
“Not the position we want to be in. There is not much we can do. We tried to go soft on the rears and it
helped. I am not in the position I want to be to be honest. We just have to figure it out.”
Car 5. NEUVILLE/GILSOUL
Slid wide early in the stage on a left-hander and swiped a bank. “The car is working fine. The rear is
sliding a lot. I was not pushing hard. I was surprised a bit by the rear.”
Car 6. SORDO/DEL BARRIO
Finishes the stage with a front puncture. “At the beginning of the stage there was a small stone. The
tyre broke and delaminated near the end.”
Car 7. LATVALA/ANTTILA
“The target is to catch the next car (Greensmith in 8th).”
Car 9. LAPPI/FERM
Started the stage very late after a technical issue involving a seat belt in the car that was restricted and
not the fault of the crew or the team.
Car 10. MEEKE/NAGLE
“I could not do much in there. I tried everything.”
Car 11. LOEB/ELENA
Stopped to change a front-left puncture 21.5km into the stage and lost over two minutes. He finished
the stage with the loss of 2min 23sec and slipped to fifth place. “I dont know. I had a stone on the line. I
didn’t think I would have a problem. I had one.”
Car 31. TIDEMAND/ANDERSSON
“Very nice stage. I really enjoy it.”
Car 38. GREENSMITH/PARRY
“It was not too bad. I was hoping it would be a little bit rougher.”
