There was no way to continue and third place was lost.
Hyundai Shell Mobis WRT team principal Andrea Adamo said: “No news (Thierry). I know what it
could be. It is not finish this day. I hope it will finish soon. I just regret the small crash (for Ott) this
morning.”

“A Ilttle bit better. We are trying to increae our pace. Not my limit but it is a working pace. It is slippery
and the tyres feel quite worn. Some places were difficult to manage. It felt like concrete on the road. I’m
excited for the city stages. I will try and keep it on the island.”

“For sure, not happy. It was a really tragedy in the morning with the brakes. It still feels like I only have
brakes on the front. I don’t get the confidence at all.”

“It was still a bit of dust on the stage. I did not want to use the lights. It was quite a nice stage for me.”

A roll was not the reason for the American’s retirement…..“We just had an overheating issue and we
don’t know why. I got a warning light on and ignored it. I drove as hard as I could until it stopped in the
stage.”
